I was watching a reels on Instagram last night and the veteran actor was talking about how there seems to be no iota of good morals in the world anymore. Everyone now behaving in the best they think they could even if it contradicts the normal way of life and reasoning but then she said something and I quote:
We should maintain a little sanity.
Over the years, almost everyone believed in the union called marriage. It is not just a rite but divinely ordered and ordained with intentional emotions and agreement, cordially coming together to create a family and you wouldn't dare say it out that you are not interested in marriage at due age but things have really changed now due to how we've seems to evolve from things and lifestyles.
Though marriage isn't a determinant of a peaceful family and formal contract isn't what defines a healthy and happy marriage. To me, this intentional relationship is still what keeps a happy marriage and makes it stand firm and strong but the fear of some things makes us think otherwise about marriage.
Some thinks that they would be a good parent or spouse from afar rather than living together under the same roof while some are afraid of being committed to one person but they would rather have their child with you and continue with their lifestyles.
The tolerance and commitment we keep running away from in marriage will still come back to hunt us as long as raising kids are involved.
The bills a man runs away from will come in double when you choose to be a baby papa or how do they call it. It will come facing you as a zaddy that you want to be with that fine lady.
The submission we don't wanna have as ladies, claiming equity will come back slapping us at due time.
Intentional relationship is always right there in every corner starring at us either being married or not. So it remains our decision to embrace marriage or choose to be alone and devise other means in satisfying ourselves.
That's why we are humans to be able to make our CHOICES
