After reading your post introducing your idea, I think I really got motivated to get back into game development. Even more so to try out new things on Godot, which I haven't touched for a long time. I hope you don't mind me using your ideas for this project, of course @edicted

Although turn-based is interesting, I was seriously thinking of something a little less idle. Not forgetting the “shift” to be respected. Something like what happens in Final Fantasy XII, you can see a bit of it in the video below:

Of course I wouldn't be working with 3D, this would be my portfolio project only.

I've heard of Godot before it looks pretty good maybe I'll look into it further.
