Good question.
I have struggled the last six months. There were people I used to interact with on mine and their blogs daily ... people like mypathtofire, hoosie, coquicoin and a few others. They have taken a break or cut right down on their posts and engagement.
I actually have a draft post about how do you replace your regulars...
It is demotivating. I love to help people and we meet new people all the time. Being a moderator in Silver Bloggers is fun but can be demotivating too if it becomes a chore if it is only me doing it all.
I love reading some of these comments.
The tengo of now is not the tengo when I joined in late 2021.
I was never one for chasing the big boys. I like being with my peers.
I see a fair few people basically saying they get stuck in a rut, with posting the same things, doing the same routine.
First off, take a step back and remember what made it fun, what made Hive fun?
Start doing that again!
I have got into a routine with the communities that I interact with and generally post on certain days.
But within that day that changes, and learn to say fluff it, and post what you want when you want.
The big thing I have found is that people focus on posting... not interacting and engaging like they did before.
Go and talk to a new newbie everyday, that is not boring. I do that in InLeo with our @mmonline account. It is quite fun when they I am talking as I am some newbie too!
Well this is another long assed ramble, I just posted a 1600 word post earlier.
Great question and I shall be back to interact with some answers and comments after I write a @mmonline post possibly about ... How do you deal with writer's block! Or I might let @deraaa do that one tomorrow.
