Drawing of Chocolate Bar | Threespeak Video

in #threespeak2 months ago

Hello all Bloggers

A few days ago I made a drawing of a cute chocolate bar but I couldn't post the video tutorial with it because there was an issue with the 3speak server. I don't know why their server often has errors but finally today this issue was resolved and I decided to upload this video. I hope you like this video.

Best wishes for you 🤞🏻

Source of potential drawing plagiarism

Hello.

Plagiarism is the copying & pasting of others' work without giving credit to the original author or artist.
We would appreciate it if you could avoid plagiarism of content (full or partial texts, videos, photography, art, etc.).

Also, you have already published this content in a previous post:

Hello @diyhub @tibfox / @juliakponsford @alienarthive / @hive-learners @kronias @lazy-panda

I suppose that there are no plagiarism checks in your art communities?

This user has been committing plagiarising from the beginning and has been heavily curated by your communities. The account has grown to a reputation of 64 within 6 months since joining in October 2024.

I would suggest tagging the whale accounts that are actually curating them which seem to be mostly @steemmonsters and @threesspeak.

In alienarthive we have a list of users under suspicion that may get warnings and are banned from our curation through OCD but are not actually banned from the community yet.

Thanks. Hopefully, @threespeak and @steemmonsters will stop voting it.

Since the spaminator service had huge troubles over weeks we had to stop asking it about authors. If you can tell us now that your blacklist is reliable as a source for bot usage then we can activate it again. Until then we blacklisted this user from our curation from now on.

Hi.
This account has not been on the blacklist until today since the abuse were discovered today :-)
It is not about applying our blacklist but about communities doing basic due diligence before adding accounts to fat auto curation.
The original artworks could be easily found using Google Lens search.

I am not sure if I understood what you meant about the blacklist. Although the spaminator was not functioning for few weeks and blacklist marker was not functioning, the blacklist did not lose it's validity and reliability.

Thaks for blacklisting the account.

We’re all working together here for authenticity and originality. Our curators do check for plagiarism when something feels off, but no one will do deep background checks for every single post—especially when there’s barely any compensation involved or it doesn't stink like plagiarism. Our curators are doing a great job, even though it’s a lot of work and not enough rewarded. Because different than projects with funded dhf proposals or with income from beneficiaries we rely on the ocd incubation and only on that.

It’s also really hard to find new, active curators. So right now, like 2 or 3 people are handling 90% of the work. I can't expect them to run Google Lens checks on every single curation they do.

Our vote is 0.5 Hive, so we’re definitely not some “fat auto-curation” lol. Yes, we nominate to OCD curation, but that’s a separate team that does their own checks before anything even gets an OCD vote. As @juliakponsford already pointed out, the big votes come from other accounts. The fact that you’re going after volunteers instead of the big players - who actually get paid via beneficiaries or proposals - feels like the easy route: down.

I will ask our curators to do more background checks when they can, but I’m not going to pass on this kind of tone over to them. I’m genuinely grateful for their work and dedication, and so is the whole community.

Regarding the spaminator blacklist: I’ll activate the cross-check with your JSON file tomorrow. It’s honestly a big help for us but it raised a lot of errors in the time it was down. Glad it's up again.

Thanks, it would be great if they checked some posts on accounts every now and then.

I have just realised that I did not blacklist this user yet. I will leave this account out of the blacklist for now and see what happens.

They check but did miss this account obviously :) we will not curate this author anymore since its blacklisted on our side and therefore it will not get nominated to ocd too. @threespeak is another story

Thanks @tibfox
