The introduction of Black Foil and Arcane Cards and the new mechanics of Conclave Arcana massively transform @splinterlands for the better. Instead of building too many Card types and causing feature creep, the team has delivered a powerful transformation to thee game that is more than worth the added complexity. The best part is that Praetoria has real utility that is connected with other parts of. I don't enjoy this delay to experience the features we were promised a bull market ago. Now that the features are live, I love them!
The Game Has Transformed!
It does not make sense to open Alchemy and Legendary Packs without Midnight Potions. The potential to miss out on a Black Foil Card is too large. Unlike Gold Foils or Legendary Cards with 1 BCX, Black Foils don't have to depend on having several of the same Card to be combined to higher Level Card.
Each one of the above Packs require upto 5 Midnight Potions to get the best out of them. If more players start joining the game through marketing campaigns (we even have an Android app now), the demand for Midnight Potions can remain very high.
