Another afternoon has arrived, dear friends, and those of you who have been following me for a while know that this is the time I usually choose to post. Well, I say afternoon because that's my schedule, but for you it might be morning or evening, and I wouldn't rule out even the wee hours for some, haha. Today I want to share my new story with you, which is inspired by a character named Turner. He's someone who longs for change, but his fear of the unknown has held him back. I want you to see if he manages to overcome those fears or if he continues as before. I hope you enjoy it, so let's get started. Here we go.

Una nueva tarde llega estimados amigos y los más veteranos de mis seguidores saben que este es el horario que suelo elegir para publicar. Bueno digo tarde porque es mi horario, pero para ustedes puede ser mañana o noche y no descarto que hasta madrugada para otros jaja. Hoy les quiero compartir mi nueva historia que está inspirada en el personaje llamado Turner. El es alguien que tiene ansias de cambio, pero el miedo al terreno desconocido lo han detenido. Quiero que vean si el logra vencer esos miedo o continuar igual. Espero que les guste, arrancamos entonces. Vamos allá.

People love you for what you do, they enjoy listening to you, and in some way, you even become a part of their lives. Turner understood this; he wanted to enjoy that too, to feel it, and at the same time, to make others feel good. That's why he strived to achieve it. He started with an old guitar someone lent him and eventually owned a top-of-the-line guitar at the peak of his career. But of course, there were many setbacks along the way; it wasn't all smooth sailing to reach the top. But his effort paid off, and he overcame everything that stood between him and the music he wanted to enjoy.

He started playing 16 years ago, initially in very small bars and restaurants. His only goal was to entertain the customers. He did this for four of those 16 years. After that, he started working at a hotel. There, he did the same thing: entertain the guests with his music. He worked there for two more years. It was a very happy time, with a lot of hard work, but ultimately, joyful. But after those two years at the hotel, one of the guests loved his playing. He played with great style and dedication. So he was eager to propose something to him. He was visiting from another country as a tourist, but back home he was part of a band. They were looking for a guitarist, and Turner seemed like a good fit.

Turner lo tenía claro, él quería disfrutar de eso también, sentirlo, y a la vez hacer sentir bien a los demás. Por eso se esforzó por alcanzarlo. Empezó con una vieja guitarra que le prestaron y llegó a tener una guitarra top en el punto más alto de su trayectoria. Pero claro en medio del camino hubieron muchas caídas, no fue todo correr y correr para subir la loma alta. Pero su esfuerzo dio frutos y superó todo lo que se interpuso entre él y la música que quería disfrutar.

Hace 16 años que empezó a tocar, al inicio fue en bares y restaurant muy pequeños. Su único objetivo era entretener a los clientes. Estuvo así por 4 de los 16 años. Luego de eso empezó a trabajar en un hotel. En ese hotel el hacía lo mismo entretener a los que se hospedaban con su música. Trabajó así dos años más. Fue una época muy alegre con mucho trabajo duro pero alegre al final y al cabo. Pero luego de esos dos años en el hotel uno de los clientes que se hospedaban le encantó su forma de tocar. Lo hacía con mucho estilo y dedicación. Así que le encantó proponerle algo. El venia de otro país de turista pero en su país natal era parte de una banda. Ellos estaban buscando un guitarrista y bueno Turner podría ser una opción.

Before this man approached Turner, he first called his friends in the other country. He sent them a video of him playing so they could judge if they liked it before making him the offer. It turned out his friends loved his playing. So, after some consideration, they asked him to join them. Turner was surprised because in his more than six years of playing in venues, no one had ever made him such an offer. He had never experienced music on a grand scale, so he wasn't going to let this opportunity pass him by. So he accepted and joined them. He sold everything he owned in his country and went to live in Buskeria with them. Once there, he started playing with the band and quickly rose to fame.

Together with his bandmates, they were able to play in some of the most iconic venues in the country, write many songs together, and give hundreds of concerts. Time passed, and they reached 16 years in the music industry. They were incredible years of adventures together; the band and he always got along well and reached a new level, becoming almost like a family. In fact, they spent more time together than with their own families. But along this path, although there was much happiness involved, Turner lost something and has been feeling bad for some time now. He's long seen himself relegated to the background; he's a good guitarist, but his name isn't the one people know, it's the band's.

He's not the one who carries the most weight, since the singers are the ones who get all the attention. He's just there in the background, like any other guitarist. When he joined, he didn't have a problem with that because he just wanted to experiment with music and enjoy the process. But now, almost two decades later, he feels he should create his own legacy, his own path, not that of a band. But he's been afraid of change; he doesn't dare leave the band or say anything. Even so, some can already tell that he's pensive and doesn't have the same enthusiasm he had in the early years. So the band met with him to see what was wrong. With a lot of patience, they got him to open up. They didn't take it badly; they understood and offered him their support. If his wish was to leave the band to forge his own path, they would not oppose it.

Antes de este señor hablarle a Turner primero llamó a sus amigos en el otro país. Les mandó un video de el tocando para que valoraran si les gustaba para entonces hacerle la proposición. Y resulta que a sus amigos les encantó como el tocaba. Así que luego de pensarlo le propusieron que se les uniera. A Turner esto le sorprendió pues en sus más de 6 años de tocar en lugares nadie le había hecho semejante propuesta. El nunca había vivido la música en grande así que esta oportunidad no la iba a desaprovechar. Así que aceptó y se unció a ellos. Vendió todo lo que tenía en su país y se fue a vivir a Buskeria junto con ellos. Una vez allí comenzó a tocar junto a la banda y rápidamente alcanzó fama.

Junto a sus amigos de la banda pudieron tocar en algunos de los lugares más emblemáticos del país y pudieron hacer juntos muchas canciones y dar cientos de conciertos. Fue así como el tiempo pasó hasta llegar a los 16 años de camino en la música. Fueron años increíbles de aventuras juntos, la banda y el siempre se llevaron bien y pasaron a un siguiente nivel, eran casi como una familia. Es que de hecho pasaban más tiempo juntos que con sus propios familiares. Pero por este camino aunque hubo mucha felicidad de por medio Turner perdió algo y se lleva sintiendo mal desde hace tiempo. Y es que desde hace mucho ha visto como ha quedado en el fondo, es un buen guitarrista pero su nombre no es el que se conoce, es el de la banda.

Tampoco es el que tiene relevancia, ya que los cantantes del grupo son los que se llevan las miradas, el solo está ahí de fondo, como un guitarrista más. Cuando se unió no tuvo problema con eso porque el solo quería experimentar en la música y disfrutar el proceso. Pero ahora casi dos décadas después el siente que debe crear su propio legado, su propio camino y no el de una banda. Pero ha tenido miedo al cambio, no se atreve a dejar la banda ni a decir nada. Aún así algunos ya pueden notar que el está pensativo y no tiene la emoción de los primeros años. Así que el grupo se reunió con el para ver que le pasaba. Con mucha paciencia lograron que el les contara. Ellos no se lo tomaron a mal, lo entendieron y le dieron su apoyo. Si su deseo era dejar la banda para crear su propio camino ellos no se opondrían.

Those words of encouragement comforted him; he hadn't expected them to take it so well. He told them that this was what he wanted: to be a solo artist and create music on his own, to experience new emotions. But he was afraid of failing. Then his bandmates offered him an idea: give it a try, and if he wasn't successful, come back to them. They would hire a temporary guitarist while he tried it out. That's when Turner realized what kind of friends he had; they were practically brothers. No other band would be happy to see a member leave, but they were encouraging him to go where he felt most comfortable and, on top of that, leaving the door open for him to return.

With that encouragement, he made the decision to become a solo artist. It would be a tough change, as he would have to start almost from scratch, but if he wanted to feel comfortable in music, he had to do it. But he promised his friends that even as a solo artist, they would collaborate and have a great time together again. After that, everyone said their goodbyes, and Turner, now changing, would start again, for himself, for his fans, for the music.

Esas palabras de animo lo reconfortaron, no se esperaba que se lo fueran a tomar tan bien. El les dijo que eso era lo que el quería, quería ser solista y el solo crear música para probar nuevas experiencias emociones. Pero tenía miedo al fracaso. Entonces sus amigos de la banda le ofrecieron un una idea. Que él lo intentara y si no tenía éxito que volviera con ellos. Ellos contratarían a un guitarrista provisional mientras tanto el probara. Ahí fue donde Turner se dio cuenta de la clase de amigos que tenía, eran casi hermanos. Ninguna otra banda estaría contenta de que un miembro se fuera, pero ellos le estaban dando ánimo para que fuera a donde se sintiera mejor y encima le dejaban la puerta abierta para volver.

Con ese animo el tomó la decisión de convertirse en solista. Sería un cambio duro pues tendría que casi empezar desde el comienzo, pero si quería sentirse a gusto en la música tendría que hacerlo. Pero les prometió a sus amigos que aunque fuera solista harían colaboraciones juntos y lo pasarían en grande de nuevo. Luego de eso todos se despidieron y Turner ahora cambiando comenzaría de nuevo, por el, por sus seguidores, por la música.
