As a kid I remember really wanting an Amiga but it was just well out of my ability to purchase. I would ogle the magazines just blown away by what this thing could do but alas, it was never meant to be. I didn't even know anyone that had one but it was a word that all of my nerdy friends knew.

        I really wanted one too. I had a Commodore 64 and by the time I was ready to upgrade, I was going off to college and Commodore was dying (1993) so I ended up with a PC instead. I briefly considered an Amiga 4000 but ultimately, at that time, I'm glad I bought the PC.
