The movies that I enjoy

in #movies3 days ago

I am very fond of watching movies but lately I am feeling so disappointed with the kind of movies that are getting released especially in the Indian cinema. Majority of them are showing violence and adultery. Lately I saw one Indian movie of a very famous actor Sunny Deol, and I have always enjoyed watching his movies. This movie's name is Jatt and when I watched it, I left it half way, there was so much of violence and it was dirty and gross, I could not handle it beyond a point. I was feeling a lot of negative energy out of it. Some times I feel that like how there is a censor board to regulate nudity scenes in the movie, in the same manner there should also be some censorship on the level of violence that is shown.

The recent movie makers are forgetting their responsibility towards their audience. Last year there was a movie Animal, which became a big hit and it was full of violence and not only that it also showed disrespect towards women. When it became a hit, I was thinking, is this what people really enjoy watching. How sick. My choice of movies is comedy, love stories, biographies, real life events and I do enjoy action movies but not violent ones. After all it is entertainment and one should feel light after watching a movie and not heavy. Some real life event movies are very sad but then those are talking about our history, something that really happened.

I was telling my hubby that with the kind of movies that are getting released lately may be we will have to break our weekly movie trends that we have been doing for so many years. Because whenever I see these violent and gross movies then for the next few hours I feel disturbed and I do not enjoy that feeling, so it's best to avoid. The problem is some movies get so hyped up and you do not know that they are so poorly made until you watch them. Action and violence is the recent theme and I understand people enjoy that but there should be some limit to what is being shown and it should not spread out wrong messages, this is my take on it.

In the past there were so many love story, comedy and feel-good movies and I would enjoy watching them, action movies were just a handful but nowadays it's becoming reverse, majority are all action movies. That's what the masses want and hence they are made.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

I think modern movies are leaning more towards losing the essence of what movies where about, telling a relatable story or conveying a message that would resonate with the audience. I personally have made it a point to watch mostly movies based on real life events, historical movies are most preferred at this point in time.

I used to like action and horror movies but now I prefer drama, comedy, just anything that's calm and entertaining

I don't enjoy movies much any more. They are too dark or too fast talking. As I age, I guess the new style is for the youth not for me.

I don't like violence very much. I prefer softer, suspenseful ones.
