Getting back to routines

in #indiaunited6 months ago

It's been 3 days that I have arrived from the trek and I am still feeling lost in that zone. Since the time I have completed the trek one thing I have been doing lots that is sleeping. I have been sleeping almost 10 hours daily and I just cannot stop myself doing that. My body feels so tired that it wants to doze off. Since yesterday evening it has been a little better and I stepped out of my home for some work.

Now I have to force myself to get out of that mode because there is lot of work to do around my new home and there is not enough time, so every day matters from here on. I plan to do the house warming by mid of June before I again travel back to Muscat and before that I need to set up the whole home in time before the house warming ceremony.

Last evening I stepped out to get some of the kitchen appliances and equipment's. I managed to do a good amount of work, but still there is lots to do. Now there is no time to rest or slow down. Before leaving for the trek also I was doing a lot of the house things but then my attention was always divided between the 2 activities. The trek was a big thing for me, and I always like to complete the difficult tasks first and then do the easier ones with ease. So now that the most difficult task is completed, I can give my full attention to the other one. Not that the house task is the easy one, but still this is a long project and even if somethings do not happen right now, it is ok.

Today morning, I could wake up early and I also feel fresh after good 3 days of resting, so now I need to get back to my routines. Though I am still feeling a little disoriented and my mind is not completely here yet, which I think is going to take some time to normalize. One thing I understand, that whatever you keep doing, life has to keep moving. You just cannot halt it for a long period of time. It's the same with me right now, as much as I would want to go easy, I have to move on with the daily activities and carry on with life.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

Reminds me of my second son. After playing volleyball for hours, he is complaining that his body is in pain and asking me to massage him. 😆

That was one hell of a trek though... You should definitely give your body a little break before stepping back in the zone dear

I knew it wasn’t going to be easy but I’m glad you were able to rest for good three days
It was a fantastic adventure

Take your time to get back into your normal self and routine, I think everything will fall back into place as time goes, the difference is probably viewing things from a different vantage point.
So glad to know that you're back from the trek, such experiences leave a lasting impression and are great for individual growth.

I would want to go easy, I have to move on with the daily activities and carry on with life.
I agree ma'am. I can relate your feelings. ☺️
