I hope everyone has been well and enjoying their weekend so far! It's been a nice and peaceful day so far over in the dubble household. The weather has cooled off a bit since yesterday and it's been raining so quite cold and cloudy as per.
When the weather isn't holding up the cats don't really get let outside for one they usually hate the rain and panic to run inside or if they can't make it inside quick enough they will hide under anything possible to wait-out the rain. 😅 So it's best to keep them in whenever possible on days like this!
Zeus on the left is a Maine Coon and Prince on the right is a Persian Ragdoll. Prince is 18 years old, I'm currently 30 so he's been with me since I was 12. Pracitcally most of my life, he's been around. He is still in great health and spirit but his body is failing him a little, he moves slowly and stiffly these days. He doesn't get about like he once did and it's more noticable within the last year.
Doing everything possible to make him comfortable and ease any discomfort he might feel, he tends to sleep on the carpets scattered around the house and he has his little specific areas to dwell in but I've purchased him this orthopedic cat bed which is quite firm and big so he can spread out and hopefully get comfortable. I didn't expect Zeus to come along and start sharing the bed with Prince, they both look very cute all cosied up together!
The green netting is also a little comfort "nest" for Prince, he likes to sleep within all the green netting, lord knows why. So the netting on-top of the cat bed works a treat, he knows where his bed is now!
