My father was recently talking about his retirement. He is going to work for the next six to seven years, and after that he can retire from his job. He was asking about the future plans that he should follow, and I told him to live for himself because parents spend their entire life for their children. That is why I want him to give this precious time to himself and do what he loves. I know he loves gardening, so I want him to build a garden.
He was talking about building a new house for me and my son, but I told him that it is not required. We already have a house, and I think he should spend his money and build a garden now because he loves it, and that is what will be best for him.
The reality of parents is that they always find their happiness in our happiness, and because of that it is our responsibility to find their happiness and give it back to them. In my case, my father loves gardening, and I know I will do my best to help him build one of the beautiful gardens in my city.
We also talked about moving from the city. It is something that is in my plans for my retirement as well. I do not want to work till my late fifties. I want to retire in my early forties, and I want to stay away from cities because I really cannot handle the pollution.
I recently shared how doctors are telling people to stay away from the city where I live because the air quality index was extremely high, above four hundred, and it is very dangerous. That is why doctors ask everyone to take a break of six to eight weeks if they can.
There are many resources in cities, but still I want to stay away from cities and live somewhere close to nature where the air is fresh and the important facilities are not very far. Balance is very important because there are many emergency situations where we need medical attention or some other help.
So I want a balanced life or at least I want a retirement where I can spend two to three months every year away from pollution and bad air quality. That is my plan, and that is why I want my father to practice it as well because it is good for his health and I know he will be happy doing that.
What else can I say? Take care of your parents, make them feel proud, and do your best in your life.
