Marriages in 2025 | Why people are afraid | A thought that shattered me

Every day, something beautiful or something disastrous happens around us. Today, I came across something that broke me completely. I read a news story about a man who hanged his 8 year old son in front of the whole village, just because he did not get the dowry and cash he had demanded at the time of marriage.

Friends, it is truly heartbreaking that even in this time and age, people are still stuck with old evil practices like dowry. And to top it all, someone harming their own 8 month old child over this is unthinkable.

As a woman, I know what pain a woman goes through when she gives birth to a new life. And a man, that too a father of that new life, doing something like this really shatters me. Because if the father himself will do something like this, what can I expect from the men roaming all around the world?

They will even treat the son or daughter in worst way. And that is why as a mother, as a woman, I feel insecure in this society. And I know that not everyone is like the man I talked about or I read about today. But still, sometimes a single scenario is enough to ruin everything.

Friends, when you go for the marriage, please look at your partner very carefully. Not only girls, but also boys, because you have to spend your life with them. At least that is what the plan is at the time of wedding.

If you are someone with the modern thinking where you simply start living with someone without marriage, it's your choice, but I am talking about those who are still stick with the morals and ethics and who go for a marriage and then start their life together.

Don't let your purity get vanished. Even girls today, they are involved in activities where they betray the husband and run away with the lover. Please don't do this. If you love someone, have the guts to take stand for it. And don't ruin a life of another man and on top of that, please don't be someone who becomes a murderer for their selfish purpose.

There are many cases where the woman killed a man just to run away with the lover. It is not the right thing. If you love someone and you can't take a stand for them and you can't marry them at first place, you are not actually loving them. And then you are just using them as well and someday maybe you will kill them or betray them as well.

Because of the bad cases on both the sides, the good people get affected. There are so many friends of mine, both boys and girls, who are now scared of marrying. They talk about marriage as one of the most scariest thing to do. They talk about marriage as something which they might not think about.

I recently met one of my friend and he was like open into relationships without commitment because he is simply afraid of marriage. The reason for all this is incidents like these where a man do something which traumatizes or where a woman do something which traumatizes.

Stay away from these things. Be pure. Be loving to your partner. And if you are not wanting to spend your life with someone, simply say no. Don't ruin their life. Be it boy, be it girl, it doesn't matter. We all are equal and we all deserve to live, not killed.
