My response to the @Indiaunited Contest - Theme: "How is Your Year this far?β
In a couple of days it's going to be the last month of the year and in no time a New Year. Some times I do not understand, why is there so much fuss around this New Year thing. Nothing really changes, it's the same life, same people, same work. But I guess it's just the energy that sparks all of us. At the beginning of this year, I had mentioned that for this year I have no resolutions, nothing really planned, and no goals set. I will go with the flow. And that's what I exactly did through the year.
So far the year has been fabulous, except for the Crypto market.....hahaha, which always gives me jitters :-). Nothing exceptional has happened this year, it was a normal routine life, and it was all good. There were no major highs or lows. My year was all about managing my Airbnb business, my HR consulting work, and then travelling between 2 Countries India and Oman. We also had a family holiday to Turkey which was again not planned and happened all of a sudden, and many small travels happened within the Country.
The main focus through the year has been on my Airbnb business, a lot of new developments I did on the property to make it more warm and welcoming for my guests. Major activities of the year have been around it. Turkey holiday was a good surprise from hubby. It was always on my mind to visit this place and it happened during the year. I was overjoyed visiting these places. The month of August and October were all about festivals, our traditional New Year, Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali. In October, I also had my friends coming over to visit me in Muscat, and I was busy taking being their tour guide.
In all it has been a blessed, stable and peaceful year. The best part of the year is yet to come, where I celebrate my 30th wedding anniversary and I will be travelling to India in a few days and the Xmas and New Year festivities.
