Assalamu alaikum,
In today's blog I will share about the challenge we took to try and cook some favourite fast food from Delhi at home.
When we talk about fast food of Delhi the first thing that comes to the mind are momos. If you are from Delhi you will know why I said that.
Momos are loved by almost everyone and I know they are one of the most unhealthy fast food but we tried making them today at home.
You can see below how they looked like after they were ready.
We at least know that the sauce we prepared is not made of rotten tomatoes and also the filling was homemade and at least that was good.
We used corns, capsicum, and paneer and they all tasted really well together.
I didn't recorded the steps for Momos because majority of it was done by my sister in law but I recorded the preparation of burgers.
They are the burger patty made at home and believe me they were prepared with fresh vegetables which hopefully will taste nice.
We used Mayo and onions as fillings inside the burger bun and also tomatoes based on the preference of who was eating it.
Then we fried the patty.
Finally they looked prepared and ready to be used inside the burger bun. You can see how these patty looked like after they were ready.
I tasted it and it was delicious, and finally we served it to our parents first as they are elders and we should always serve them first.
They liked it a lot and even my son and niece loved the burgers as well as the momos. The momos sauce was not like the one which is available at those momos stall.
But at least we tried and it was all healthy and nothing bad used in the sauce, just tomatoes.
