Theme: If You Could Talk to your Younger Self?
An open letter to my younger self
Hello, amazing #indiaunited and #hiveans. This theme reminds me of my daily walk with some of our local church teens in their various fields of learning and life journey. So today, I am writing an open letter to a younger @cagolistic. Below are the excerpts. Gently squeezing her hand, I will say:
Dear Cagolistc,
You are brave, you are a tender girl growing up in a dramatic, noisy, and dynamic world. Nasa, you have to be faithful and stay true to your purpose on earth. Not everyone will accept or praise you even when you do good. Not everyone will love you and approve of your lifestyle.
But I want to tell you that you are okay, you are brilliant, and you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Nasa, you won't be able to please everyone you meet. Some may break you and some may want to mislead you, but you need to shine your eyes and no gree for anyone who wants to make you look incompetent.
NASA, please do not bear grudges; always find a place in your heart to forgive those who offend you and let go. Things might not always work out the way you plan, but with patience, you will find answers to every delay, denial, and unanswered prayer. It is okay to feel guilty of some mistakes made in pursuit of life’s endeavours, but do not be broken. Look at those mistakes as lessons and leverage them to make better and smarter plans.
Again, sometimes, you will need to walk alone; do not be afraid. You shall discover your true strength at that time, while better opportunities and connections will locate you. There are times when people tend to misunderstand your personality, and you might feel deeply hurt. It is okay to cry, asking all your 'whys,' but don't be afraid to get up and rediscover yourself. Also, pray always pray.
Nasa, nobody promised that it would be easy, but the bold, the courageous, and the tough get going when the road is tough. So, NASA, get going, make good use of opportunities that come your way. Make money rightly, add value, be kind, and touch lives as much as you can.

Finally, always lighten your face with smiles, do not allow people to second-guess you, reflect on your daily set goals, set boundaries, and protect your peace; nobody determines who you are except you. Be proud of your achievements and always give yourself a treat.

One day, you will look back and be thankful for the woman you have become because everything happened in your life to make you that refined woman.
