There are so many places that have a high sentimental value to different people. We all seek and desire that one place where we can be free to be ourselves without anyone's judgement or condemning eyes and noses.
For some people, their ”comfort zone* is in another person whom they refer to as their loved one and for some other people, their safe place is in a literal place. I fall in this category. My safe place is actually a literal place.
The one place that brings me comfort is my bedroom, precisely on my bed. Nothing compares to that feeling I have whenever I lay on my bed. It is really a comforting place for me.

I feel liberated when I am in my bedroom. I feel at peace, free to be me without any fear of judging eyes and condemning noses. In my bedroom, I don't have to act all prim and proper. I am free to be me and that gives me great comfort.
To be clear,I don't just sleep in my bedroom, no that's not all I do. I do a lot but the things I do are things that bring me joy. One beautiful thing that I do in my comfort zone that gives me great comfort is cozying up with my blanket and reading a good book. This for me is very very comforting and as I read while laying on my bed, I have a bag of chips beside my bed. That makes it very special.

I also do something very important when I am in my bedroom and that is self-examination. The Holy Bible encourages us to examine ourselves so that we do not fall into evil days and so that we will know if we are still standing. One sure way of self -examination is through prayer.
I cannot exhaust the benefits of prayer and prayer is simply talking to God our creator. Right there in my bedroom, I can talk in all honesty with God. I can let out all my worries, sadness, anxieties and fears. I do this freely inthe comfort of my bedroom.
Another thing I do when I am in my comfort zone is planning. My head is clear and I can plan for future goals and objectives. I also make plans for my daily work activities against the next day and this makes me prepared to face work the next day.

I also feel comfortable writing my hive posts when I am in my bedroom as there would be little to no distractions. No friend to bring me any gist that would cause me to put my phone down.
My comfort zone is my place of clarity and direction. I don't trade it for anything.
