Su nido estaba en un árbol que se cayó y cuando cayó la mamá voló y quedaron los loritos solos. Eran 4 y con mi mamá le dábamos comida y los cuidamos, mi mamá los tenía en una jaula pero era de madera y se la comieron y dos se fueron y nos quedaron dos. Que son lugar a dudas eran los niños de la casa ya que aprendieron a decir varias palabras y llamaban a mi mamá para que les diera comida, nos perseguían. Pero en mayo del año pasado la hembra murió y nos quedó el macho que lo llamamos ñeñe. Así que recordé que cumplió 5 años con nosotros y quise tomarle unas fotos.

But in May of last year the female died and we were left with the male that we call ñeñe. So I remembered that he turned 5 years old with us and I wanted to take some photos of him.

Porque aunque desde que estaba pequeño y le faltaban algunas plumas lo hemos tenido en casa el es bastante salvaje. Y se asusta muy fácilmente así que trate de tomarle algunas fotos pero se fue volando y no quise fastidiarlo yo desde el principio sabía que tomar las fotos iba a ser bastante complicado.

Aunque es bastante salvaje y nadie lo puede tocar, desde que murió su pareja yo poco a poco lo he podido ir tocando y hasta se deja dar besitos y cuando me ve me persigue para estar a mi lado. Es increíble el amor tan grande que tengo por mi ñeñe y trato de cuidarlo mucho ya que estos loros pueden vivir muchos años.
Although he is quite wild and no one can touch him, since his partner died I have been able to touch him little by little and he even lets me kiss him and when he sees me he follows me to be by my side. It is incredible how much love I have for my ñeñe and I try to take good care of him since these parrots can live for many years.
