He was also very calm in our presence, I imagine we looked very amused, trying to pet him, ha, ha, ha, ha.

As we left the store, with our shoes in hand, they stayed at the counter as the owners of the place. Their owners, kind girls, allowed their pets to be photographed and even exhibited them proudly. Here I discovered that there are many cat lovers and that, every time, I see that many kittens are adopted and that's great; in fact, any business that has your pet in it, for me already has a point in its favor. Hoy salimos mi esposo e hijo y yo, a comprarle unos zapatos a mi hijo y en ese caminar de zapaterías en zapaterías, ya cansados porque mi hijo no se decidía por el zapato deportivo que quería (ya saben como son los adolescentes); llegamos a una zapatería en la cual afortunadamente, consiguió un modelo de zapatos a su gusto y mientras le buscaban su número de zapato. Me senté un momento para refrescarme y descansar los pies, cuando en eso, veo entre unos zapatos que estaban en exhibición a una traviesa gata que reposaba sobre ellos, mirando a todos con relajada curiosidad.

De una vez se me activo el chip de mamá gatuna ja, ja, ja y quise verla de más cerca y al ver esa hermosa cara, no me pude contener y le tomé varias fotos a la coqueta Carla, así decía su plaquita de identificación, de una vez supe que era seguramente de los dueños del local comercial y no me equivoque porque estos al ver que estábamos ya todos, mi esposo, hijo y yo derretidos por su presencia, empezaron a contarnos su historia de vida y resulto que Carla llego al local y simplemente se instaló, la dueña del lugar al ver como ella se adaptó a todos, decidió a adoptarla y ahora es la consentida del lugar.

Mientras nos contaban estos detalles, Carla se acercó a olerme. Estaba como fascinada con mi olor, supongo que olía en mí a mis gatos, luego pasó a oler a mi esposo e hijo, con curiosidad y luego se dejó incluso tomar más fotos, dejando que nos acercáramos tranquilamente. Pero cuando estábamos en esas, una de las dueñas nos sacó a un nuevo adoptado, un adorable gatito blanco. Este lo habían adoptado recientemente y aún no tenía nombre, lo tenían tras el mostrador de cobro, en una caja con sus mantas. Él también se quedó muy tranquilo en nuestra presencia, imagino que nos veíamos muy divertidos, tratando de hacerle una caricia, ja, ja, ja.

Al salir del local, con nuestros zapatos en mano, ellos se quedaron en el mostrador como los dueños del lugar. Sus dueñas, unas amables chicas, permitieron las fotos a sus mascotas e incluso las exhibieron orgullosas. Aquí descubrí que habemos muchos amantes de los gatos y que, cada vez, veo que muchos gatitos son adoptados y eso es genial; de hecho, cualquier negocio que tenga a su mascota en él, para mí ya tiene un punto a su favor. ¡Saludos amigos!
