I think the basics of chemistry are fascinating, but when you delve too deep into it, things get complicated. In this post I talk about atomic orbitals. These are regions of space around the nucleus of an atom where it is most likely to find an electron. Orbitals can have different shapes and are fundamental to several aspects of both chemistry and physics.
