I have actually been pondering hard on this question and I could not even find an answer to it, although I am not pressurizing myself in any way. I was speaking to my friend days ago and it came up, which led to me ranting in his DM about how confused I was about my life. I just graduated from the university and I am finding it hard to decide what to do next.

It’s not even that I don’t have options or that I have no skill. I do, but it’s still a bit confusing. You will understand what I mean by that in a moment. I am a photographer, I learned the skill while I was still a student but I am having some issues doing that fully at the moment. I do not have a camera or laptop and I have left the school area where I used to get access to gadgets free of charge (my boss’s place).
Yes, I could rent gadgets, but that comes at a slightly costly amount. If I decide to rent gadgets every time, to save up for a camera and a laptop of my own might be quite hard because I don’t really have a customer base yet. Coupled with the fact that I have not even decided the place I want to reside. I am just at my parents house for now.
Also, I already have entrepreneurship, I have been doing business since my 100 level days. I have sold a lot of things and what I have decided to stick with now is the sales of perfumes. As we all know, entrepreneurship is not for the faint hearted, but I am just trying to keep it moving. I have left school, where I have most customers.
As a matter of fact, most of those customers were my level mates and most of them have left school area to different locations as well. Even if they want to buy out of love from wherever they are, delivery fee can discourage them. So, I just have to figure out a way to provide solution to all the limitations.

I had to talk about these two things to let you know that it’s not as if I have nothing to do.
However, all the past graduates I have met and all the meetings I have attended keeps pointing at the corporate world and it is truly beautiful. You know all those professional terms, well tailored linkedin pages, posts and all those company roles also looked really good. We were advised to create a CV, take online courses and all that.
I have taken and attempted some online courses at some points in my life (UI/UX design and graphics design most especially). I love the idea of the corporate world, but I can only do it if it’s remote. I don’t want to be compelled to a routine that will make me forget other things I want to do with my life.
I mean, no matter the path I choose to eventually follow, business will always be a part of me and I will carry my business everywhere I go. Photography on the other hand is something I enjoy doing. If I had the opportunity, I would just focus on travel, nature and documentary photography.
Going back to my topic, I am trying to make a decision if I should actually carefully select an online course to do and pursue a career in it or just stick to doing my personal business. Anyways, I will figure it out as soon as possible. When I do, I will definitely let you know.
Thank you so much for reading❤️
