AM I THE ONLY ONE AFFECTED BY THIS WEATHER?🥹

Everyone will agree with me that the weather has been a bit harsh for the past few weeks (except for people that are not from around here). It’s been very dry, cold, and very dusty. I actually do prefer cold weather to when it’s hot—I hate heat with all my might. However, harmattan came a little late this year and it hasn’t been very nice.

Apart from the fact that it’s quite chilly most of the time (which is great), the other things that come with it is just not so nice. The dry lips, blocked nostrils, dusty environments, and all of that.

I have been feeling really sick for the past few days and it even got worse today. I could have lost my streak today and have a good reason to justify it, but I decided not to fold😎. I got up and picked up my pen to write this piece despite being in bed all day. I couldn’t even stand up to eat, I was that weak today.

My head has been pounding really hard and my nostrils have been blocked for a few days. Breathing well has been feeling like luxury and my throat hurts from coughing much. I have serious body pains as well, and I just can not wait to feel whole again. I feel so sick right now, and I just want to sleep again.

I see that this weather has been dealing with a lot of people, it’s obviously quite harsh. I don’t just want to conclude I have malaria and have the need to see a doctor. I used a medication last night and it actually really cleared my nostrils when I woke up this morning. However, it didn’t really help my whole body feel extremely better, because I felt even weaker today.

By the way, I really do prefer this type of weather to when it’s hot, but without the dryness please. I hope it gets better by tomorrow, so I can go back home in good health from school.

Thanks for reading ❤️

With weather like this - one of the reasons is we tend to stay indoors and that reduces our vitamin D. Try to make sure to keep up your vitamin D at these times!

Yeah, and funny enough, the opposite is the weather now. The heat is very crazy as we have to take multiple showers in a day and also stay hydrated.
