A Wise Fool I Am

Well Hello There Everyone!

Another Episode Of WorkLife

Well my week started late and last week ended very early, which means that this week once again feels like a nightmare!
But on that we won't complain!

This entire week feels like it started off in a dazed state!

I had a plan that I wanted to set in motion for the week we have ahead of us and sheesh! It was thrown over and toppled down, not a bad thing persay. Some parts arrived before some other parts and we had to move everything around again and do what we can with what we got so far!

I'll jump right into the working phase... after my coffee!

The Back Order Part.

Heck you can't even begin to think that something as simple as a master cylinder would be on a back order.... some sort of back order!

This is the thing that threw my entire day around, also not entirely just this... this car actually!
It was one thing after the other, got the master cylinder in and boom everything is fine, until it wasn't!

Somehow something got jammed up in the pipe after standing for about a week or two and I had to remove it all from the top and trust me that wasn't any fun at all! Especially if you thought you'd have it done!

That's a mechanics life right!

The Headache Thing!

Laughs, it's just as easy as press and twist!

Yeah right! That is what they want you to believe! They really do!

I didn't get a picture of that but I had to smear grease all over the thing just to help it along as it started sliding over! Even then I had to call Bossman to come give it some gentle persuasion as I tried pressing it in!

I pressed with both hands and he twisted! Now as shamefull as this may sound it took us half the day to get a simple thing like a clutch master cylinder in and working!

Thankfully that is done with now! The car was sent to the wash and tomorrow morning we will be getting it back and then the client can come pick up his ride!

Hahaha, I can feel your innermost thoughts that it's not as easy just to press and twist.

It's hard to press and twist while you don't have any power since your hand is wriggled into some small space... but we managed at the end of the day and all is good🫠

Persistance is a winner

I'm not a mechanic, but I can relate to your story... When I was working in the PC service I had similar issues with computers... You just replace the RAM module and that's it! Just press and click (in my case)... 😂 And it SHOULD work, and it WORKS for a day or two and then decides not to... lol... Seriously, in some cases, I was thinking that some of those computers were possessed... 😂
