I always like to let you or tell you how I know each song, well in the case that I remember it because who is going to remember how they knew each song? In my opinion I think those phrases don't just refer to love as a refuge in a relationship, I think it speaks to the importance of building safe spaces in our lives. It's like those times, even in the worst circumstances, there are little things or people that bring us back to peace, say a friend who listens, a place that makes us feel at home, or even a quiet moment we find with ourselves. As I said before, it depends on your interpretation.

By the way friends, even to me who already know the song, I still find it interesting that you don't necessarily have to see it from the perspective of a couple. Some may tell me that it is contradictory because the message is focused in that sense. But as I always say the message of the songs is subjective. Sure, it talks about love, but the message also applies in other contexts. For example, I comment others that are related to the ones I said before. We can think about how we create our own shelters when we face difficulties. Maybe it's a hobby that helps us to disconnect, in my case it's music but in yours it could be, I don't know, going for a walk in the woods or something like that or maybe playing games. The thing is that in general it is a space where we feel in control.
