Good morning to all my friends. Another week begins and with it new opportunities to share with all of you in this beautiful Buskeria community. As you may know I have several sections, one of them is very well known because I have been doing it for a long time, which is the letter recommendation. Another one is news and musical anniversaries. And recently the section of stories that I only bring to the blog a few times a week. Well, the new section I have decided to add today is “Discover a Song”. This section consists of just what the title says, discover a song.

In this section I'm going to talk about a song so that you know it or remember it in case you already know it. I will also give you my opinions about it and, of course, the meaning it has. And by the way I will also comment on the teaching it has. This is a section that I have wanted to do for some time. But don't worry the other sections will continue, I will be interspersing them during the week so that there will be more variety here. Well nothing friends with all this explained we begin.

Well, friends, to open this section I have chosen a classic song. Probably some of you already know it because it has been in the market for many years. In case you already know it, maybe you want to remember it. Well it is the song Despre Tine Do you already know it? I will read your answers in the comments. In case you don't know it, maybe you know the name of the band that created the song. It's O-zone, if that's how you spell it, with the hyphen between the O and the Z. I was telling you that maybe you know the name of the band because they are the famous group creator of the also very famous song Dragostea Din Tei, which has many funny parodies on Youtube 😅. but in this case I don't want to talk about that song, we will leave that for another post, so let's concentrate on Despre Tine.

You know I don't know this song since it came out. Well that was like in the early 2000's and I didn't even have any devices at that time. 😂. It was much later that I discovered the existence of this song. You see it was a bit curious. I went one day to my cousin's house. I went to help him repair his computer, I'm not a technician but I do know a little more than him. He's kind of from the last generation and doesn't know much about PCs. However that PC I'm not going to lie to you, it looked like it was back from prehistoric times. 😂. I believe it was almost on the verge of dying, but it still worked enough to be used. While I was working on it, I saw that it had a lot of music on its PC. One folder caught my attention Eurodance.

If you follow me around here for a few months you will know how much I like this genre, because in recent months I have spoken to you in several posts about different songs of this genre. Well the thing is that I asked my cousin to let me copy some songs to listen to later at home. And that's where I found Despre Tine. You know, I liked it a lot from that moment on. The funny thing is that I already knew Dragostea Din Tei, of course, because they even listened to it on the radio, but I had never really looked into O-Zone. So it was thanks to this song that I became interested in learning more about their music, and today I have almost all of their discography.

If you haven't listened to Despre tine yet, it's a song that talks about longing for something or rather the nostalgia of wanting to return to something or someone that is no longer there (or situation we could say). In the lyrics there is a kind of recognition of what that connection meant, with that person or thing. There's something very honest about that. The song does not focus on pain, I think it is more about reflecting on what that person or that stage meant in the life of the singer or the listener because almost always one is the one who ends up interpreting the song in their own way regardless of what the singer wanted to convey.

I think this song teaches us again (if we take it out of the romantic context) and apply it to other areas of life, that we all have those moments or experiences and we must prepare for them. Because always (things) that in one way or another, mark a before and after in our lives or in those around us indirectly affecting us. I see it as sometimes, those things go away, either because time passes, because we change or because circumstances push us in a different direction if we can call it that. The song says that not everything we lose is a failure and I agree with that, because on the contrary, every experience, every step or change, has something to contribute to our life. That is, if we are working on it in a positive way. Because what happens to us because of mistakes is something else.
