The specific year was in 2020 so a few years have passed since then, but I think it is still very good to analyze it today. I tell you that in my personal case I met it a year after its release. I remember that what I liked most the first time was the rhythm.

After having heard it, I analyzed it a little more and I realized the message. I don't know why it is that the first time you listen to the music you notice the lyrics and then you notice the lyrics. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way. 😅. Well, I'm like that when I look for new music I almost always look at the music first and then I see the message. At least in this specific song both things seem very good to me. I'll tell you why.

The song speaks directly about how if you want to win someone's heart, you have to put effort into it and do things. No going around saying I love you and that's it. I don't know if you understand me, it's funny I know, but it's that we often overlook this message, nobody is perfect so many times we tend to leave things in words and do nothing. It happens to many people, including me, and well this song comes with that topic perhaps to raise awareness of it. In other words, it talks about showing that you care about that person. I also think it even gives advice on how to find a partner. I tell you this because in the lyrics there is a part that I interpret as if it says that if you want someone to notice you, you have to do your part. It reminds you that words must be accompanied by actions.

But of course if the song only had this message it would be too simple and then there wouldn't be much to talk about here beyond that paragraph above. The good thing here is that these lyrics lend themselves to more than one interpretation. Some of them have good messages that we can apply in life and perhaps improve in many aspects our relationship with others. Well, that is why I am going to talk to you about one of my interpretations of the lesson that we can take from it. For example, this message can be applied to other areas of life with our friends or colleagues or even family. I mean, many times it is not enough to say that you care about a certain topic or you know that typical phrase that one often says, yes because even I have said it “I am on it”. 😁 I laugh a little at this but it is clear that it is an important topic. See it as a way of recognizing the error, take it with humor but you have to take more action sometimes. For example, showing it by helping in a project or simply being there for a friend in a bad moment.

Of course, you can say that the song is a bit cliché, because something similar has already been spoken and sung many times. But instead of dismissing it, you can see that although the message is simple, it is reiterated in a format that many enjoy.

As I always say, there are other messages that we could take into account in the song, everything depends on the interpretation we give it. At least I stick with that one. The lyrics lend themselves to other interesting ones. So you know, when it is necessary, take action and you will see the results in your relationships with others.
