Mono Monday at the port
Good Morning, I hope you had a good weekend went well and I wish you a good week ahead.
Todfay I will share a few mono shots as I tend to do on Mondays and today's focus is on the port here in New Bedford, MA.
I was thinking this morning while picking and editing a few photos for this post, how when its colder and often greyer in the winter months, it should provide more motivation perhaps to edit MOno shots, but then I thought some more and thinki its the opposie
I find when I am feeling the cold at this time of year, I tend to look more for warmer, colorful shots to edit, to conteract the grey days outside.
And another thought before taking about the photos, but it seems to me in the colder weather the sunrises and sunsets just seem to be crisper and sometimes more vibrant, maybe I just feel that now since I don't go out for walks in the cold and only see sunrises or sunsets out the window of the house and imagine there crisper and more colorful
OK back to the port and the photos, Starting with some commercial fishing boats and looking across towards Fairhaven MA

This is the spot in the port where the tall ship, the Ernestina Morrisse,y berths when in port, she was out when I took this photo but one of her lifeboats was on the dock.
I haven't been by the port for a while but I would suspect she is now back in port and covered up for winter as she has been previous years

THis is the Clam Bar and outdoor eating spot and shack at the port, the reds caught my eye so I went for selective coloring
