Beautiful sky and shadows. Looking across a snowy field towards Lake Dunmore and the Green Mountains.
I discovered this face on a tree on my morning walk.
It was down an otherwise non-descript trail through the trees. Lurking in the shadows.
Unless you are looking closely you would miss it.
I guess it fits the mood of this time of year.
Dark and gloomy. A little mysterious, a little spooky at times.
And then some sun.
A little sun scares away the spooks in the woods making it safe to venture on.
