Nice reflections on the lake yesterday. Good lighting this time of year is becoming uncommon.

Nice late fall day. High 30F's and no breeze. Today is supposed to be even a bit warmer.

White cabins contrast nicely with the dark pines.

Dark pines and shadows.

The eastern shore was still catching the sun.

Thats another charactoristic of late fall. The afternoons are short and the shadows come quickly. Its the start of Thanksgiving week in the States. Lots of food and traditionally family. Plus some football I suppose. One of my sons will be home. We will be baking tomorrow and cooking on Thursday. Our family has the big meal and turkey at around noon. Finishing up around time for the first NFL game/nap. Usually followed by a walk and then desserts. Desserts are primarily pumpkin pie. Nothing that unusual on the menu except egg noodles. The noodles often go over the mashed potatoes. I think it goes back to some German ancestry. Like Chicken and noodles (or dumplings) over mashed potatoes.
