I went for a short #wednesdaywalk through the swampy area near my house.

Marsh Marigolds are blooming right now.

A spring blossom that adds some color to swampy areas.

Marsh Marigolds are a native perennial that is quite common.

Ants

I have more than I would like due to the poor drainage near my home 🙁

              Yep. There are some areas with a complete blanket of these bright yellow flowers. Really feels like spring.
