Keep an eye out for chaga in those birch forests. Might be easier to spot it during the winter as it is just a big black clump.

        I had to look up chaga. I wasn't familar with it. There might be some on a birch on the edge of our yard. I'll check it out. I thought that birch was diseased and was thinking about cutting it down 😲
