In this post, I will share my experience and success in capturing the beauty of several flying insects such as wasps and beetles. This is the hidden life behind the silence of nature which holds a million mysteries.A month ago I bought two new macro lenses in an online store, but only yesterday did these macro lenses arrive in my hands, the delay in getting these lenses to me was due to the flooding in Aceh yesterday, but I am still grateful because these macro lenses still arrived in my hands.
It's been a long time since I hunted insects, photographing insects is a challenging and exciting thing, and honestly I really miss it. Yesterday I took the time to go into the oil palm plantation, the main goal was to hunt for mushrooms and unique insects there.
A wasp perched in the grass caught my attention. This wasp has several unique characteristics,its primary color is black with additional yellow markings on its back. It takes patience to photograph this wasp, as its small size allows it to move quickly.
And this is a red beetle with black spots, this beetle has a very small body size and is very susceptible to movement so it is very difficult to photograph it, so I only managed to take one picture.
And this is a yellow ladybug, I found this beetle on the wild grass, but not far from this beetle there are also larvae that look like aphids, I don't know what they are, but what is certain is that they look like they have a family bond.
By using a macro lens, even the smallest objects become easy to photograph, for example this ladybug, even from one angle I managed to photograph two of these insects in one picture, it looks so beautiful.
And finally, I also managed to photograph a tortoise beetle, its transparent shell makes this beetle look so amazing, this insect is not as wild as other beetles, it is a bit easy to photograph this beetle, especially when it is perched on leaves.Maybe for now I will focus more on hunting insects and mushrooms, I really enjoy it
