I want to wish you all a very merry, happy, joyful and a lovely Christmas.
In the early 90s, the initiative was taken to transform the IJsselstein TV transmitter mast into the World's Largest Christmas Tree, and in 1992, the lights were actually lit for the first time. Since then, the Christmas tree has become a very striking landmark in the Netherlands. With his 366,80 meters high (1200feet) and 120 light bulbs, this "Christmas tree" has become a tradition that an entire generation has grown up with.
It could be seen from far away in the Netherlands and often I photoshop it out of my pictures. It's could be a distraction. And during nise sunsets its standing in my way.
But I also let it in there many times.
I think I Photoshop it out of this picture. It was standing there were the sun was coming up!.
