Hello photo lovers,
The one thing that I wanted to take pictures of was during a big rain storm. I wanted to capture the big droplets falling from the sky and I wanted them to be frozen in time in my picture. That means a very quick shutter speed. But when it's raining, it also often is dark to. So the ISO needs to be way up.
This day I was out for a quick walk. I saw a rain storm coming on the weather app and I decided to do out quickly and see what was going to happen. And there were the masive rain clouds.
I wondered towards the open field a bit but I was looking towards the sun behind the clouds and that was just to white. It was hard to see the drops falling there.
So I went back in to the forest and found a nice place underneath a big tree. I did pay close attention on the weather because I didn't want to be outside under a big tree if there was going to be a thunderstorm.
It was dark and grey and the rain almost looked like fog in my pictures. I needed more back light if I wanted to capture the droplets.
And that did hapen a bit. here the sun was peeking truogh the clouds to give me a nice sback lighting to see those raindrops.
And when I saw that this was the way how I could capture the drops i went towards a nice spot in the forest were the sun was in line with the sun.
To bad it stop raining there 😅 but eventually it started raining again and i found the perfect spot. But now my camera lens was completely soaked and full of droplets.
It was raining so incredible hard that I couldn't keep my gear and myself dry. But this picture is the closes I got of what i wanted to capture. I love it.
Walking back home and the sun was gone. it was grey and very very moist. i was wet op to my underwear 😅
