Hello photography enthusiasts,
Today I want to share one of my simple shots using a smartphone camera using the close-up/macro technique. The subject I captured was a soft purple wildflower growing freely on the edge of a garden. Although often considered a nuisance, upon closer inspection, this flower possesses a unique beauty. Its tiny petals appear delicate, like thin threads fused together to form tiny balls, truly captivating when photographed from the right angle.
Macro photography always provides a unique experience. Through the lens, we can see tiny details that are often overlooked by the naked eye. I personally felt as if I were being invited into a miniature world, where insects, flowers, and leaves become the main characters in a visual story.
Furthermore, wildflower photography has also taught me patience and a new perspective. The natural light of the morning sun was key to producing the soft, natural color tones in this photo. With a slight touch of focus, the blurred green background adds to the emphasis on the main subject, making this small flower appear more vibrant.
Note: I am writing in Indonesian and using the help of Google translate to translate into English.
