Portraits, Costumes And Abandoned Structures

in Photography Lovers2 days ago

Today I'd like to show you the rest of the photos I took at the latest photography exhibition I visited. If you've missed the first batch of photos, you can check them here. It was a very interesting one (all are by the way), where you can learn quite a lot, if you're into photography. You can get new ideas about topics, techniques and so on. Each exhibition is different as you see photos from different photographers, and in the same time you see the world through their eyes, you see what they considered important to capture and how.

Looking Out

This was a photo I liked the most, or maybe one of my favorites, if you like. I don't know if it was spontaneous or staged, but either way, it's brilliant. The two kids looking out of the window, the framing ... just perfect. I hope one day I can take such a photo. It's not the first such photo I see at an exhibition, so the idea is common, but the execution makes the difference.

Antonia

Antonia got me into trouble as this was the only angle I could take a half decent photo. It's quite frustrating to deal with glare and reflection at every single exhibition, but the good news is, for the first time this year I have seen a solution that solves the problem. It's a cover that does not reflect the light. Don't ask me what it is as I don't know specs, but it was a huge relief to see something has been done in this regard. Most likely it's not cheap and will take some time to see it at every exhibition, but it's coming.

Looking Out

Old and abandoned buildings has always been the favorite place of photographers for all kinds of photo shoots. Some like to highlight the difference between a ruined surrounding and an elegant model, others prefer to dress their model more casual. It depends on the vision.

Bride

This was a wonderful shot from every point of view, even though the reflection made it kind of impossible to take a decent photo. I love the folk costume, which is essential to keep the tradition going. Look at the look and the smile on the bride's face. The angle is also great, although me taking the photo from the side makes it a bit difficult to see it right.

Happy

These portraits will be less and less, because people like the gentleman on the photo are hard to find and people don't really like to model for the camera, so this photo is really valuable in my eyes. It reflects a lot of emotions and it's genuine. No fake smile, not posing for the camera as you see these days. The gentleman just being himself.

Youth

Another beautiful photo of a young girl wearing a lovely folk costumes. These costumes are like trophies in my eyes as are a lot more valuable as people think. There's a lot of work behind every piece, there's the tradition too and the fact that you only wear these for special occasions, makes them more valuable. I love how the photographer chose a dark background, to make the costume highlighted.

Frecce

Frecce Tricolori is the aerobatic demonstration team of the Italian Air Force. Demonstration move captured nicely.

Rugged and Smooth

Not my favorite scene, I don't like long exposure soft flowing water, but the photo is excellent, I must admit that. Maybe one day I'm going to experiment with such settings, but I'm more drawn to light, rather than water. Regardless, look at the beauty of those layered rocks, the colors and how the water is rushing down. Amazing.

Protector Of The Realm

This is more like my cup of tea. It's a lovely scene captured from a very good angle. I can't decide if it's a drone photo or not, but it doesn't matter. It's beautiful.

HNY

This is a scene I would choose over any other for several reasons. Untouched snow is always valuable in the eyes of a photographer, as it means you're first, the explorer, as no one else has been there before. This scene is interesting because it is up on the top of a cliff and the light purple light is an extra to all this.

Definitely the first photograph is my favourite and beyond whether it was spontaneous or prepared it is very good. In fact all the photos that are made behind frames or windows are very beautiful, they express a lot.

I totally agree with you, the issue of lights and reflections on the photographs that have glass in front of them is a problem, thank goodness there is something to solve it, but that problem always happens to me when I go to a similar exhibition, finding the right angle to take a decent picture. That look, that angle is perfect, by the way.

Nature is always amazing and the mountain photo is masterful, I love it, even if I prefer water, that one is amazing. It was a beautiful and quality display. Thank you very much!

Looks like we're three already, fans of the first photo. It's amazing in my eyes.

Reflection is my biggest enemy and I'm always complaining about it in my art posts. It takes a lot of skills to take photos in such conditions and many photos are simply useless. Let's hope evolution is going to cover this area too and we can get rid of it :)

Not only does it affect the light and the reflection but also the fact that we ourselves are not reflected... what a problem!

A headache each time 🤨

Undoubtedly... let's keep fighting with the reflection!

I'm in. I'm never going to give up.

Nor me! Hug!

Wow, these are real art works I can only imagine to photoshot one day. So realistic, like they are goint to speak out of picture. Also, cober photo reminds me of Slavic girl look. 🤗

Indeed, as you say, real artworks and that's why I love these exhibitions.

That girl may be Slavic, I don't know exactly, but the costume is not really from Romania. Thanks for the nice comment 🤗

Bonita galería, las imágenes están bien espectaculares. Como me gusto la de la mujer en la ventana con los tatuajes del cuello.

En realidad esta bien ordenada y curiosa la galería. 🤗🙏🏻

Saludos y buen día @erikah !! ☺️

I'm glad you like it @ibarra95. Have a nice weekend.

The photos with airplanes and nature are simply incredible

I'm happy you were able to find a few favorites.

If you, dear @erikha, like Peony flowers, I would be glad if you would come and visit my photos. I would be interested to hear your opinion 😊

Professional photography at its best... Amazing!!!

It is indeed, we have a lot to learn from it :)

I'm not a fan of portraits, but the girls in national costumes turned out great. And my favorite photos of nature are simply amazing.🙂

There were so many good photos for every taste, it's hard to pick one.

This is a photo of the photo. It has always been a tribute to me. Because I love the idea and art and taste of any photography

Yeah, that's ne, taking photos of photos and all kinds of art 😊

I really enjoyed the photography, it seems like a lovely exhibition. Additionally, I appreciate the links you shared at the bottom of your post for newbies. I am still pretty new to Hive, and there are many topics I am still not familiar with. The links to the articles you posted were very helpful. Thank you for sharing!

You're welcome @giathebao. I'm glad those newbie guides are helpful. Use them, learn from them.

The image of that man is just something to behold. No extras, just as it is and should be. Overall, all the portraits are nice.

This post deserves a !PIMP.

Yes, the definition of genuinity. Rare to find and I'm convinced I'm never going to take such photos.

Beautiful gallery, I absolutely loved the landscape photos. The colors and details are stunningeach shot truly captures the essence of nature’s beauty. I’d love the opportunity to visit these places and capture their magic myself. Wonderful work, keep inspiring!

I think we all wish to visit such places and take similar photos. Maybe one day...

My favorite is the two kids "Looking Out". Bride, Happy and Youth are all great portraits. Looks like a good exhibit.

The two kids im the window is my favorite too. But the rest are really nice too.

I can't deny that I'm there, unable to decide between the photo of falling water and the one of snow.
But overall, it's a great exhibition.

The snow, definitely the snow 😎

Yes, it was a great exhibition and experience for me.

The framed picture on the wall is very nice.

I'm glad you like them.

Wow ,those photos were very stunning and meaningful, so amazing.

I agree with you.

I especially love how you highlighted both the emotions behind the portrait and the photographer's unique vision it's truly brings image to life. What a great work.

I tried my best to bring some unique photos and also to give my opinion and view about it.
