It's been ages since my last art cocktail, so it's jut about time for mixing one for the art lovers of Hive. Folder cleaning is going ok, but there's still a lot of work and during the process, I still find a lot of goodies that worth showing to the world.

It may look strange, but when you think that you can see a lot of exhibitions without even participating in person, I guess you can call yourself lucky.

Géza Starmüller - Kolozsvár
Let's start with this painting, a minimalist landscape, of which beauty lies in its simplicity, at least that's how I see it. It's a landscape you see at most of the countrysides. It's a serene spot on the earth that was worthy to make it to the canvas and through the painting, into the gallery.

Emil Lajos Kovács
I took this photo at the last exhibition I visited a week ago. It's oil on canvas, featuring a very unusual view from the woods. The artist favored the trees in front, and the landscape behind the trees. It's kind of unique as you don't see this setup often, but I like it.

Iuliu Duma - Searching (or searches)
It is an inner protest and an artistic revolt, a cascade of signs and temporary constructions from whose calmness and clarity will result the directions generating solutions.
We're changing style here. This is a painting from an exhibition called "Protest". At the venue, you have the possibility to step closer to the canvas and try to see every detail, while at home you can just enlarge the photo and try to see what the artist meant. As I see it, kinda this is how life looks like. A big chaos at times, where everything goes wrong and you need time to put together the pieces, make something positive of the chaos.

Mátyás Gudor
I took this photo this year in August, during a festival we had in the city. This charcoal (or ink) drawing was exhibited in a coffee shop and was part of an exhibition organized for disabled people. The idea of giving disabled people such a chance is absolutely amazing and the drawing is very good. I don't think I have to tell you what it is, unless you're not Christian.
Annamária Bács
This was an exhibition organized in September 2023, a textile exhibition or textile and fiber to be precise, a very different from what I am usually posting. This gallery is for amateur artists and this is why you see artworks you don't usually see in big galleries. At first glance you may think this is a table mat for hot pots, but it's not. I was looking at it, trying to figure out how it's made. Being clueless is not the case here, but would I be able to recreate it? Highly doubt it, but I like it.

Amateur doesn't mean less good or worse or whatever word you want to use. I took this photo in 2020 (God, it's been 5 years!!!!) and the only bad thing I see here is the position of the paintings, or the place where they were exhibited, as I could not get a better shot.
Look at the top painting. The artist is Blanka Fekete Ferenczi and the painting about granny is fantastic. She's radiating happiness and it shows she dares to live her life, wearing bright colors and striking glasses. Fantastic.
The still life, by Lili Lazar is good too, capturing the last days of a plant.
Pál Fekete
Grandpa with a cigar. There was a time when these clay sculptures were everywhere. Now you don't see these much. Now, I don't know how you see this sculpture, may look a bit rough, but it's fantastic. look at the face features, it is so life like. You need a lot of talent and experience with clay to create such a sculpture.
Let's see if you like any of these :) Let me know in a comment.
