This time I feel like I am a bad guy for ruining other couple intimacy time. Well it was not my intention, but they were havign a great activities, outside, when I was out with my camera. So it seems that they were picking the wrong timing to have a close moment together.
I foudn these two beetle mating peacefully, when they attracted my attention. And intention to go out that day was to get some macro photo, so finding them doing their sex time outside was not something I want to miss of course. But as much as I want to photograph them having fun, they were having another idea, maybe because they don't want thier adult pose circulating on the internet. Maybe someone else might get jealous. hahah
They were initially mating on the thorny branch of a weedy plant. They choose the most dangerous and uncomfortable place on the human scale and preference. But hey, as long as they are enjoying it, what can we say isn't it? it is they call after all.
Then after a few shots, they move to a better place, to a leaf, maybe because they feel that my presence was a little bit annoying.
Despite that I just kept following their movement, tying to get as many photos as I can.
In the end, they decided to end the mating process. not sure if the mating was actually succesfull or not, but they were finishing it off pretty fast.
