Rural life in Breb, the amazing main village of Maramureş, Romania.
It is the heart of Romania, where people live in touch with nature.
They work a lot with wood, for example building beautiful crosses to put in and on churches. Here typical churches are made entirely by wood.

Here another laboratory, they make useful object working wood. Man in foreground was sharpening the blade of the tools to cut grass:
The other man was making handcraft and tools for farmers. He was 90 years old and he was still working hard!

He is very proud of his activity and life, and he is right! I love small local activities, the only one who can counteract the great power of multinationals and financial world.
And here he showed us how to cut grass! Movement is natural and it is simple, but it very difficult, it is almost an art!
