RE: Mix Of Textile Art

in Photography Lovers11 days ago

It doesn't matter that these works were exhibited a long time ago, I still enjoy them very much, especially when you show details like that beautiful work Del dron, espreciosa. Now I'll tell you that my favourite is the first one, how beautiful, even though it seems to have no head, perhaps it is looking in a direction and from a point of view that the artist preferred not to depict but to leave the detail of the hair. Beautiful!!!

The first one is an excellent choice. I loved almost all the works of the artist and at some point I even considered buying one, but these were big pieces and definitely too big for my available space.

When the pieces are very large, the problem is space; I have the same issue. For now, I have my own paintings decorating my home, but in the future, I may have other types of artwork.

These were around 2 meter long pieces, so you can imagine, you need an entire wall as otherwise the whole space would look very crowded. I had my phone on my hand, to call the artist and make a deal, but then I gave up.

If you have your own art on your walls, I'm curious, did you take into consideration your available space? Or you just created what you liked and eventually it ended up on your wall?

Honestly, I first thought about what I liked, since they weren't large paintings, but when I lived in Argentina, I made huge paintings and there I did take into account the available space first. I remember I made one that measured 2 x 1 metres, like a kind of mural.
