The packaging mayhem kills me. So much plastic everywhere. Oil companies are making the pivot to plastic so they can maintain their production as people electrify so we can't even make any progress.
Even being mindful and trying to avoid plastic, it's just not 100% no matter how hard I try. You'd think humans hadn't existed without it for thousands of years. 😮💨
Don't get me wrong - it has its uses, like sterile medical equipment, yes, wonderful. But the current levels are crazy.
Do you city compost, and you're supposed to put it in compost bags? I just collect it in an old yogurt tub in the kitchen and empty it into the bin out on the balcony. The city compost here is only available to houses, though a law was passed to make it available to apartments too, we don't have an eta for when that gets implemented yet.
