This a very helpful routine. I keep trying to have one but end up in a consumption loop which tires me out more. Worst thing is that in a good mood I am doing all these things, music, books, walking, etc. But when I am in the dumps, and probably have more need of it, I am unable to do any of it. Mind is too gone to focus on any thing except the loop causing me harm. Very ironic.

Hmm, maybe you should make a constant effort to implement these routines when you need them the most, it will help you feel better.
