Think what you like about Peter Doherty's approach to dubious “happiness makers” - but when it comes to lyrics and music, you can only applaud.

When listening to Sunny Day Real Estate, you could really think that they would be better off in the UK - but then there is a certain similarity to REM that comes through.

Future Islands - can probably make miserable car journeys more pleasant.

So what else is there to say about Green Day? If you buy Green Day - then you will get Green Day. No other colour stands a chance.

              I think the problem is that you have a really varied, but also very rich choice. It can happen that one or two of the acts are forgotten or even not considered.
              In the case of Abstract Concrete, this probably happened because the band reminded me a little too much of the Talking Heads.
