I usually don't post unless I make my step goal, which is just infrequent enough that when I do hit the goal I forget to post. Maybe it would be better to follow your example and post anyway.

Yeah definitely! I mostly get around 5-8K Steps which is not much. But tracking the calories is the bigger habit stacking I need. Posting helps me a lot with this
