I'm happy to hear the tornado sirens didn't amount to anything serious. I've had a few close calls with tornados, and they definitely still put me on edge. They do usually make for some epic clouds though.

Thanks, the next day we found out there were actually two tornadoes that touched down, but they were a bit south of where we live. It was a harrowing experience for a bit there.
I was just talking with my sister who lives in St. Louis, apparently a tornado just came within a mile of her. She showed me some pictures, scary stuff. Glad it missed you all!
I heard that too. I have some indirect relatives that live in St. Louis and they were posting about how devastating the storms were to certain neighborhoods.
When you live near a big city, it is hard to imagine it will land in your neighborhood. I think the unpredictability makes them scarier.
