This week, since Halloween is upon us, I’m spotlighting Broken Peach, a Spanish cover band that somehow fuses soul, rock, and spooky theatrics into one glorious Halloween party. Their videos are a feast of eerie costumes, zombie energy, and harmonies that feel like they rose straight from the grave.

Broken Peach – Tainted Love
The classic Soft Cell song takes on an entirely new life (or afterlife?) in Broken Peach’s hands. It’s both gritty and glamorous, with a mix of Motown swagger and Tim Burton-style visuals. The costumes alone make it worth the watch, but the vocals seal the deal.
If the Addams Family ever needed a house band, this would be it.
Broken Peach – Bad & Ghostbusters
This mashup doesn't see, like it should work, but it does. Michael Jackson meets Ray Parker Jr. in a Halloween dance of ghosts and grooves. Broken Peach layers harmonies and horns in a way that feels both nostalgic and fresh, like a Halloween parade crossing Bourbon Street.
They’ve made a tradition out of these Halloween “Specials”. The production is theatrical, the choreography sharp, and the energy contagious.
And that leaves us with the most recent and maybe best:
Broken Peach – Enter Sandman
Here’s where things go dark. Metallica’s iconic nightmare anthem gets a haunting new coat of paint with three harmonized voices that sound like banshees in unison. It’s moody, gothic, and perfectly cinematic.
Also notice a few lines from Psycho Killer by Talking Heads, which I featured a few weeks ago.
A brilliant way to close out the Halloween night: equal parts glam and graveyard.

So what’s your favorite?
Happy Halloween. 🎃
