As every Thursday of memories, here I share with you my participation today, Thursday, May 15, 2025 in the TBT Contest called by our friend José Lanz, @lanzjoseg, for the #topfamiliy community. Estaba revisando en mi pc y en los álbumes físicos, las fotos viejas y los registros fotográficos digitales del día de las madres de años anteriores, y me tuve que estacionar en varias fotos de mis hijos desde que estaban pequeños hasta la actualidad; me encantó ver esa evolución, y sinceramente, no pude evitar hacer este recorrido cronológico de sus poses. Quizás algunas de estas fotos ya han sido publicadas en algunos de mis contenidos de años atrás, disculpen esa posible repetición, pero se me hizo difícil revisar antiguas publicaciones para confirmarlo… problemas de señal, quizás.

Lo cierto es que en el #tbt era necesario colocar algunas de ellas para mirar esa evolución tan bonita, es que los vemos tan chiquitos y cuchis, y de repente ya están inmensos, pero siempre con su ternura impresa en sus sonrisas. La foto inicial fue tomada en la casa por un estudio fotográfico a domicilio y tenían 6 y 10 años, la segunda también fue tomada por un estudio fotográfico pero en sus instalaciones (de ésta si recuerdo haber hecho un #tbt hace unos años) y tenían 4 y 8 años, y la tercera es de la visita de mi hijo al país el año pasado ya con 30 y 34 años.

I was going through my pc and physical albums, old photos and digital photographic records of Mother's Day from previous years, and I had to park myself in several photos of my children since they were little until nowadays; I loved seeing that evolution, and honestly, I couldn't help myself to make this chronological tour of their poses. Maybe some of these photos have already been published in some of my content from years ago, sorry for that possible repetition, but it was difficult for me to check old publications to confirm it... signal problems, maybe.

The truth is that in the #tbt it was necessary to post some of them to look at that beautiful evolution, we see them so small and cute, and suddenly they are already huge, but always with their tenderness printed in their smiles. The first photo was taken at home by a home photo studio and they were 6 and 10 years old, the second one was also taken by a photo studio but in their facilities (I do remember doing a #tbt a few years ago) and they were 4 and 8 years old, and the third one is from my son's visit to the country last year when they were 30 and 34 years old.

Mis hijos fanáticos, igual que yo, de visitar Mc Donald’s, y aunque no encuentro registros fotográficos de aquellas visitas de la infancia, si tengo una del año pasado, de mis dos amores comiendo barquilla en ese lugar que fue parte de sus momentos más felices de la niñez. Visitar el parque de Mc Donald’s los jueves y los sábados, era una costumbre semanal. ¿Y por qué esos días?

Los jueves papá cobraba y cuando iban por mí en la noche a la universidad, de regreso nos parábamos ahí a cenar. Los sábados yo salía de la universidad después de mediodía, y nos íbamos para allá a almorzar y ahí pasaban ellos su tarde jugando, a veces con sus primos o con otros amiguitos. Era una tradición bonita, yo la amaba, y aún sigo siendo fan de Mc Donald’s aunque sea para comer un helado y papas fritas, jajajaja.

My children, like me, are fanatics of visiting Mc Donald's, and although I can't find photographic records of those childhood visits, I do have one from last year, of my two loves eating waffles in that place that was part of their happiest childhood moments. Visiting McDonald's park on Thursdays and Saturdays was a weekly habit. And why those days?

On Thursdays Dad would get paid and when they went to pick me up from college at night, we would stop there for dinner on the way back. On Saturdays I would leave the university after noon, and we would go there for lunch and there they would spend the afternoon playing, sometimes with their cousins or with other little friends. It was a nice tradition, I loved it, and I'm still a fan of McDonald's even if it's just for ice cream and fries, hahahaha.
