Valnamor from Splinterlands

in DIYHub6 days ago

My this post is for the weekly art contest of splinterlands.
I'm going to post in this community after a week.
This time I am going to make a male character from ground cards the name of the character is Valnamor.
I hope you guys would love this below I have explained everything from zero the overall procedure is explained below now let's check it out that how I made this beautiful drawing.

Process

So guys now let me tell you how I made this character, first I used white paper and pencil to sketch this character, I sketched the exterior of this character.

After sketching the exterior, I sketched the hand-held trident and the interior, mean that outline of his face and clothing.
The appearance of the character was very clear, so I sketched it very easily.
Well, after a little effort, I completed the sketching of this character in 45 minutes.

Now it was my turn to color it, so I used both pencil and marker colors to fill it in.
First, I filled the accents of this character with yellow marker color.
I shaded his hair with two different yellow-orange colors.

I gave the rest of his accents with a red color.
And then I used black and with that I defined his facial features and wherever there was black in his dressing, like his top and shoes, I colored it with black.

And now I have used brown pencil color to give his face, hands, and feet a shade of skin color.
And for coloring the top, I also used two different shades of blue pencil.

And now I have used gray color in the trident he is holding in his hand and the shaft of the trident has been filled with blue color and the belt tied around his waist has been colored with two colors, green and yellow.

And now I have colored the wave like shapes on the back side or background of this character with sea green color, so my coloring step is finished here.

Lastly I used a black pointer to outline and highlight the lines of the character.
You will see that black pointer has made this character more prominent and Stand out.
I had completely made the character, I completed it in about 1 and 15 minutes.

Final Look:

I tried my best to make this character look like his original image and I am happy to see that I have made it look like his original image.

Fantastic work! I really appreciate the step-by-step explanation of your process. It's inspiring to see how you brought Valnamor to life, from the initial sketch to the final touches. The use of different shades to create depth is particularly impressive.
