I know if you were the one who saw that broken bottle, you would see it as trash just because of where you found it. Even if it happened to be in your house, you would not think twice before throwing it away. Of course, it was sharp, dangerous, and useless. It could harm you. And truly, that is what most people would think.
But somehow, I saw beyond that. I saw beyond the harm, beyond the brokenness. Something in me popped up that there was still beauty hidden inside that piece of glass. So I carefully put on my gloves, nose mask, and safety shoes, then picked it up from the dung hill, a place where nobody expected anything good to come from.
I washed it gently, as though I was washing away its pain and past. Then I began to file down the sharp edges to blunt them so they would no longer harm.
While I was filing, I paused for a moment. I could almost feel the pain, as if the bottle itself was crying. I imagined it as a voice of someone being worked upon, someone going through a refining process, feeling the pressure, the burning, and the discomfort of change.
It reminded me of how we humans sometimes cry too when life begins to shape us. When God starts refining us, it hurts not because He wants to destroy us but because He is bringing out the best in us. Just like that bottle, we go through moments of pain before the beauty begins to show.
As I continued, the thought sank deeper. Brokenness does not mean the end. It simply means something new is about to begin.
Why do we so quickly reject people when they seem broken?
Why do we distance ourselves from those who have fallen, failed, or no longer look perfect?
Sometimes what people need is not rejection but refinement. They need someone who will see beyond their cracks and scars, someone patient enough to bring out the beauty that still lives inside them.
That bottle reminded me that even what has been thrown away can rise again with purpose. Brokenness does not mean useless. It only means in progress. And maybe, just maybe, that is how hope works. What is broken can bloom again if only we choose to see the possibilities.
Crafting Process
Firstly I got a broken bottle and washed it thoroughly to remove dirt and dust and washed it and allow it to dry
Secondly ,I then filed down all the sharp edges to blunt them so the bottle would no longer be harmful.
Thirdly, Once that was done, I used wax gum to create texture on the body, adding pattern and depth.
Fourthly ,After that, I sprayed the bottle with silver color, giving it a bright metallic shine.
Fifthly, Then I sprayed it again with black paint, blending both colors to create a unique contrast. And allowed it to dry properly
Finally, I placed artificial flowers inside and instantly it came #alive with beauty and grace.
Boom! (When nonsense finally makes sense)
Though she carries a scar and he carries a scar, their scars have been transformed into beauty and strength.
Note this, Young Mind, Your brokenness is not the reason for your failure. Your brokenness does not change Gods plan for your #life. Therefore, Beloved, do not give up so soon. Help is here. God is the help to the broken ones. Allow Him to help you and He will surely help.
