To get me out of my mountain, takes a lot. Sure I'll pop down to town for cigarettes and olive oil once a month, but really - travelling out of my comfort zone - I just don't do it as much anymore than when I was younger. I mean, I'm king (little k) of my mountain, so why would I leave?
Well, there are a few, and I mean few, things that can get me to do it. Sometimes, my family. But recently, its been more about "HIVE", a decentralized community of decentralized communities, with a layer of technology, fast and fat blocks that I enjoy stuffing my data into.
For Hive, I get out of my comfort zone. I went to CriptoLatinFest and onboarded @jthomasewsky and friends, I went to LATAMblockchain summit and got two HIVE masterclasses on Colledge, which seems to now be defunct.
What will we manage at Talent Land? Something tells me, its going to be valuable.
So we grabbed two seats from a friend, 90 mil pesos cada uno, 4am trip out of our small town and started winding our way towards Bogotá.
A little before 9am we were scoping the city streets of Bogotá, trying to decide where to "spend the day".
We landed on "Gran Estación", which if I have done everything correctly is where the "worldmap'pin" Pin is for this post. If I did it wrong, teach me peeps, I want to be pinning all week.
Old friends and new, outside my small town again for the first time in almost two years - even Starbucks seems a welcome treat.
And so I start the grind, frequent posts about "travel", and all its ups and downs. To shill Hive, with Love, all over the world.
This should be fun!
