It is very sad that I have never seen snow during the time I lived in Istanbul, I had a full winter there, I even saw on the news that it snowed in some parts of the city, but it never snowed in the area where I lived or visited. So when I came to the village, it was very pleasant for me to be able to shoot the snowy mountains from the balcony of my house, even if it was not in the village.

I think I'm lucky in this respect because not everyone has such a pleasant view from their balconies, even though the view from my workplace in Istanbul was very nice, the view from the house where I lived was not so good. I could only see the street and there were always cars passing by.

Some of the photos are vertical and some are horizontal, in some you can see mostly snowy mountains and in some you can see the gardens of the people living in our village.

The huge field in this photo looks very good when it is covered with crops. When I was a kid I used to dream of mowing it with a single sickle stroke like in a game haha. Do you also enjoy watching the landscapes of your childhood like me? Yes, I have traveled to many beautiful places and seen many beautiful landscapes, but the feelings that this landscape that I watched when I was playing as a child is completely different.

Of all the photographs, this is my favorite. Isn't the view beautiful? There are huge mountains covered in snow and it feels like something from a movie. Somehow they also make you feel safe. If you zoom in, you can see the village where my grandparents live at the bottom. I once shared with you a post where I went there on foot, it might have been 2 years ago.

In this photo you can see some of the houses in my village. This is one of the angles I like to take because you can see the mountains on the other side, you can see the houses in the village and if you look a little further away there are bigger and snow-covered mountains. The sun is setting right there and it's nice to watch it from this angle, but of course it's not possible with the clouds.

In this photo you can see our neighbor's garden. The big cabbages look like grapes here, don't they? The grapes are still a long way from ripening my friends, about 7-8 months. Of course it depends on the climate. The green grass seems to be fooled by the false spring. It wasn't even cold when I came to the village, whereas in the past it used to be covered with snow even in March, global warming sucks.

İstanbul'da yaşadığım süre boyunca hiç kar görmemiş olmam çok üzücü, orada dolu bir kış geçirdim, hatta şehrin bazı kesimlerine kar yağdığını haberlerde gördüm ama benim yaşadığım veya ziyaret ettiğim bölgeye hiç kar yağmadı. Bu yüzden köye geldiğimde köyün içinde olmasa da evimin balkonundan karlı dağları çekebilmek benim için çok keyifliydi.

Sanırım bu açıdan şanslıyım çünkü her insanın balkon manzarası bu kadar keyifli değil, İstanbul'da iş yerimin manzarası çok güzel olsa da yaşadığım evinki o kadar iyi değildi. Sadece caddeyi seyredebiliyordum ve sürekli araba geçiyordu.

Fotoğrafların bazıları dikey ve bazıları yatay, bazılarında çoğunlukla karlı dağları görebilirken bazılarında köyümüzde yaşayan insanların bahçelerini de görebilirsiniz.

Bu fotoğraftaki devasa tarla ekinle kaplıyken çok iyi görünüyor. Çocukken orayı bir oyundaymış gibi tek bir orak darbesiyle biçmeyi hayal ederdim haha. Siz de benim gibi çocukluğunuzdaki manzaraları izlemekten keyif alıyor musunuz? Evet, çok güzel yerleri gezdim ve çok güzel manzaralar gördüm ama çocukluğumda oyun oynarken seyrettiğim şu manzaranın bende uyandırdığı hisler bambaşka.

Bütün fotoğraflar arasında bu benim favorim. Manzara çok güzel değil mi? Karşıda devasa dağlar karla kaplı ve bana bir filmden alınmış gibi hissettiriyor. Bir şekilde insana kendini güvende de hissettiriyorlar. Fotoğrafı yakınlaştırırsanız alt kısımda anneannemlerin yaşadığı köyü de görebilirsiniz. Güneş de tam oradan batıyor ve bu açıdan onu izlemek de keyifli, tabi ki bulutlar varken bu mümkün değil.

Bu fotoğrafta komşumuzun bahçesini görebilirsiniz. Büyük lahanalar burada üzüm taneleri gibi görünüyor değil mi? Üzümlerin olgunlaşmasına daha çok var dostlarım, yaklaşık 7-8 ay. Tabi ki iklimin durumuna göre farklılık gösteriyor. Yeşermiş çimenler de yalancı bahara aldanmış gibi görünüyor. Ben köye geldiğimde hava soğuk bile değildi, oysa eskiden mart ayında bile her yer karla kaplı olurdu, küresel ısınma berbat.
